About John C Ralston

I graduated from The Cooper Union for the Advancement of Science & Art in 1998.

Much of my art is a loving impression of diagrams and figures. The rest is mostly straightforward portraiture or jokey cartography. I hope you think of my art in the future when you see these kinds of things in real life.

I use Bic “Mark It” permanent markers on Canson watercolor paper for my drawings, and the nonpareil Gudy-O for my collages.

Please download, print, and fold my color crosshatching instructional PDF here. It’s free and “copylefted”, and I’d sure like it if people would use it, especially K-12 art teachers.
